Finding Joy in the Everyday: Reconnecting with What Lights You Up

A Complimentary Workshop to Create More Joy, Presence, and Possibility in Your Life

When was the last time you experienced a moment of pure joy?

Not the big, life-changing moments, but the simple moments that make you smile, laugh out loud, feel alive, and remind you of what matters.

A beautiful cup of coffee. A meaningful conversation. Music that moves you. Time in nature. Laughter. Creativity. Play.

So often, we spend our days focused on what needs to get done, what we need to accomplish, and what we still want to change. In the process, we can lose touch with the simple joys that bring richness and meaning to our everyday lives.

This workshop is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore:

What brings me joy?
What makes me feel alive?
How can I create more moments of joy in my everyday life?

Together, we’ll explore how joy is not something we have to wait for—it is something we can cultivate, practice, and choose.

A New Twist on New Year's Resolutions

Reflect • Acknowledge • Let Go • Envision

What if, instead of rushing into the New Year with a list of resolutions, you took some time to pause and truly reflect on the year you've just lived?

A New Twist on New Year's Resolutions is an opportunity to slow down, look back with curiosity and compassion, acknowledge what you've experienced and learned, be willing to leave behind what hasn't worked for you, and consider what you want to carry forward.

Together, we'll reflect on the past year, celebrate what's gone well, and honor the experiences that have shaped you. We'll explore what's no longer serving you and create space to let go of old patterns, expectations, or ways of being that may be getting in the way.

From there, we'll turn our attention toward the year ahead. What do you truly want? What matters to you now? What are you ready to create, experience, or become?

Rather than making resolutions that quickly fade, you'll have the opportunity to envision a year that feels meaningful and aligned with who you are now. Looking forward, we'll identify some intentional first steps to begin bringing that vision to life.

This is a space for reflection, conversation, possibility, and connection. It's not necessary to have all the answers. You simply want to come with an open mind, an open heart, and a willingness to imagine what might be possible.

This workshop is ideal for those who:

  • Are tired of making resolutions that don't stick

  • Want to review and honor the year that has passed

  • Desire to celebrate what went well and acknowledge what they've learned

  • Are ready to release what is no longer working or serving them

  • Want greater clarity about what they truly want

  • Feel called to create meaningful action in the year ahead

  • Are ready to begin the New Year with greater intention, possibility, and purpose

You will leave with a clearer vision, renewed energy, and practical next steps for creating the year you want.

Ideal Scene Workshop

Clarify Your Vision. Create Your Future

What would you love to create in your life?

An Ideal Scene is a simple yet powerful visualization tool that invites you to imagine what you want your life to look and feel like—and then put those desires into words. You can create an Ideal Scene about anything: your relationships, career, health and wellness, home, travel, retirement, a project you're dreaming about, or simply the way you want to experience your life.

So often, our attention naturally goes toward what's not working, what's missing, or what we don't want. An Ideal Scene offers a different way of looking. Instead of focusing on the problem, we turn our attention toward possibility. We move from "I don't want this" to "What do I want instead?"

I've been writing Ideal Scenes for almost 18 years, and I've experienced them as powerful, creative, mindful, and surprisingly fun. I've written Ideal Scenes about a car I wanted, renovating my backyard patio, my experience during my first seven-week summer in Slovenia, and even how I wanted to feel and show up when taking my boards to become a therapist.

The possibilities are endless because your Ideal Scene can be about anything you want to create.

In this 90-minute workshop, I'll introduce you to the practice of writing an Ideal Scene, share some of my own experiences, and then give you the opportunity to create one of your own.

This is a chance to slow down, get reflective, imagine, dream, and give yourself permission to consider: What do I really want?

You don't need to know exactly how you're going to make it happen. You simply need to be willing to imagine what might be possible.

This workshop is ideal for those who:

  • Have a dream, goal, or project they'd like to pursue

  • Want greater clarity about what they truly desire

  • Feel ready to shift their focus from what's not working toward what they want to create

  • Enjoy visioning, journaling, and personal growth work

  • Are curious about using creativity and imagination as tools for creating change

  • Want to give themselves permission to dream—and put those dreams into words

Love Your Whole Self

A Workshop in Self-Love, Self-Acceptance, and Self-Nurturing

Creating a Kinder Relationship With Yourself

How often do you stop and ask yourself, How am I doing? What do I need? What would feel good or supportive right now?

So often, we're busy taking care of everyone and everything around us that we forget to take care of ourselves. And for many of us, the voice inside our own head can be much harder on us than we would ever be with someone we love.

This workshop is an invitation to slow down, turn your attention inward, and explore what it might look like to have a more loving and accepting relationship with yourself.

We'll explore what self-love really means and how we can begin to accept ourselves as we are, while still growing, changing, and becoming who we want to be. We'll look at the ways we talk to ourselves, the expectations we place on ourselves, and the ways we may be getting in our own way.

We'll also explore self-nurturing: What does it mean to truly care for yourself? What do you need more of? What might you need less of? Where in your life are you longing for more rest, balance, connection, fun, or simply a little more breathing room?

And perhaps most importantly, we'll create some space to listen to your own inner voice, the voice that knows what you need, what matters to you, and what feels right for you.

Through reflection, conversation, and simple exercises, you'll have an opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself, and consider how you want to move through your life with greater kindness, compassion, and intention.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to become someone different. This is simply an opportunity to turn some of the love and care you so naturally give to others back toward yourself.

This workshop is ideal for those who:

  • Desire greater self-love and self-acceptance

  • Are longing for more peace, balance, and self-care

  • Tend to be hard on themselves or expect a lot from themselves

  • Want to develop a kinder, more supportive inner voice

  • Feel disconnected from their own needs, desires, or intuition

  • Want to reconnect with their authentic inner voice

  • Are ready to make more room for themselves in their own lives

  • Want to cultivate greater compassion, well-being, and ease
